Universe of People

There are more than seven billion of people on the earth. Each one with different characteristics, look, nature, behaviour, but still the “Universe of people” around us is the same. The group of people we encounter is always the same, just a small difference here and there.

Just take any of our groups, consider the relatives – uncle, aunt, cousins, grandparents, both side, maternal, paternal – someone from them is always boring, while someone charming, one always excited, the aunt who always into bitching, that uncle who is into more show off, one silent, intellectual kind – almost all types. Then when we have a general discussion with friends, someone says, my that uncle so boring and suddenly we also come up to match someone from our side.

We all have the same circle of people around us. In our professional career, we change jobs and have to get along with different set of people. But all the new ones we meet, we found the same old characters, just with new faces. Here too, one guy who always try to get close to the boss, the one who needs mail and then reminder on phone as well, the one shrewd who is good at everything, the one who gets work easily from anyone and many others.

I don’t know, what exact is our role in this “Universe of People” with whom we get along with. But as soon as we get in, we try to segment the people around us and we fit almost everyone in the same cast/character we earlier encountered with. Then we change the places, cities and again keep discussing about someone, we immediately step up saying, in my last company, we exactly had the same type of guy.

This universe of people we carry are same irrespective of city, state, countries, race, caste, religion, its upto us what kind of character we should be to get remembered in someone’s discussion, when they discuss their “universe of people”
