Among the various genres of books, biographies are the ones which I prefer the most. Biographies are considered unbiased, as-it-is, full of facts for that person.
It includes various facets of that person. His childhood, youth, old age, challenges at various stages in life, personal life, family life, any issues in between.
If the person has a lot of other interests, then there are various scandals he or she is in.
It’s literally like a transcript of that person’s life. A treasure trove for the people in the know.
A few things which we always get curious about a big personality, we try to find out in his or her biography. And they too think nothing is about to alter such things in life, open up freely.
A scandal, romance, treachery, tragedy, anything.
My biography, it still has some time as I am not yet in my golden years of life.
Like many of you here, my life is also full of ups and downs. Today is 14th Feb, Valentine’s Day, so a few chapters of love and loss are there. Love with school mates, teachers, in college, and in office life as well.
There are many things, as I am afraid that my close ones will get agitated, I may not put everything open to all. But very few knew what I am going to hide.
It will be full of confessions, a select few, which I never ever confessed with, not even with my better half. I will openly say “I Love You” to my parents, which in India is generally taken for granted.
I will put a lot many things on why I am not that liberal with my kid.
There will be a separate chapter on the loves in my life at various stages. Few intimate things, I don’t know whether I will put or not.
One chapter for all those, who helped me, mentored me and stood as a lighthouse – a beacon for navigating me in my life.
In all, despite its a biography, I am afraid, it will be a play of hide-n-seek about the things in my life.
As they say, don’t show all your cards, few things will be kept to me only forever.
