Whom should we call a ‘Confident Person’?
One who has a good experience and knows what he is doing, knowing what the outcome will be.
Or the one who, in an uncertain situation takes decisions based on the gut feeling and ready to face anything thereafter.
Being confident is a luxury in itself for many and a ‘must have’ for others.
A rich person getting into something with a backing of his wealth, for doing something is a confidence.
But the one who is on an uncharted territory, trying his luck with whatever bare minimum he has, knowing, if he/she fails, the cost would be too high.
I feel the second one is a confident person, because if something fails, he is ready to face on his own in comparison to that rich guy, who has a backing.
In my life, one of my wife’s close relatives, I feel is a confident person.
She failed in an entrance exam NEET for being a doctor. Family members decided to get her married.
She didn’t say anything and she started for competitive exams. She kept a specific police position in mind and gave her everything for the preparation.
As the situation at home was not that good, she started taking tuitions.
She got few positions of good rank, but she appeared again for the exams and became what she wanted to be. An SP of a district. [Superintendent of Police].
I mentioned her here, because, if she would have failed, she didn’t have any option but to get married.
I salute that lady, I am not putting here intentionally her name.
