Covid-19 was the most tragic experience in everyone’s life.
Waking up in the morning and watching thousands of lives succumbed to this deadly virus was heart-wrenching.
That situation was literally kept us on the threshold of life and death.
If someone got the Covid-19 and admitted to the hospital, it’s almost considered as the person was no more from that time only.
Coping up with that deadly virus, brought many changes in life and we adapted many changes.
I was in the hospital during the second wave for 11 days and the experience was tragic for me and my family as well.
From the first wave only, our office allowed us the WFH.
Masks, hand sanitizers, multiple time baths became a norm at that time.
We stopped consuming many products including milk as well.
As the wheat flour got over, we used to consume only rice both the time, but averted going out to buy anything.
In first wave, no member from my family crossed the threshold of our home, but somehow during the second wave Covid-19 caught me.
My family and I literally collapsed. Despite following all the precautions, “how did this happen?”, was the main reason for our that situation.
Then from that time, I decided to throw away all the precautions.
I stopped using masks in the hospital as well. Those 10-11 days were unbearable.
Giving away mask and sanitiser was a revolt against the deadly virus, saying, do what you want, I am not going to give any heed to you.
Thankfully, I was back home, thanks to parents’ good deeds and God’s grace.
We started washing everything, even milk pack as well in disinfectant before taking for the use.
This continued for 3-4 months after the second wave.
Apart from this, that taught us how fragile the life is.
Now, I mostly don’t do anything I used to do during that period, but that tragic experience was a shock for the life.
