Understanding Empathy: A Missing Key in Human Connection

Daily writing prompt
What’s something most people don’t understand?

I love this prompt. This is one of the sensitive and important questions.

There are many things people don’t understand, for self as well as others.

But with others, the one thing they mainly don’t understand or DON’T WANT TO UNDERSTAND is ‘Empathy’.

Ours is going good, so not caring of others, what are their feelings, what all things going in their lives – people don’t even bother to think about it.

‘Empathy – Being aware of and sharing another person’s feeling’, so simple.

But this word or this behaviour is simply missed for selfishness or few people don’t consider that as a human being we need to be empathetic.

Showing empathy, helps the people and give that feeling that someone is understanding their concern.

It is practically not possible to help everyone in this world, but showing empathy means a lot to them.

I feel this important thing is missing among the human being across the world and it’s making us see, what humanity shouldn’t see in the world.

  2. Empathy is required. The people who care for their own emotions, in a healthy way, don’t exploit other people.

        1. Yes Loku, I think what we should do is giving first chance to check and then as per the experience, we should decide whether to keep distance or go with them.
