Kids Once Grow Up, Should Take Care of Their Parents.

Parents are the biggest support in the life of the kids.

When I was in school, one of our teachers used to say, “The day parents start neglecting their kids, that day will be doom’s day.”

When we say parents, it applies to all living beings, animals, birds, and Mother Earth.

They keep protecting their offspring. They take care of them and look after them, till they attain an age where they can stand on their feet.

This is not considered an expectation from the kids, it comes by default. It’s been followed since humanity started.

But there is one big difference between human beings and animals/birds. Parents take care of kids but the same is not observed or expected in animals or birds.

It’s been seen only in the case of human beings.

I am not saying we shouldn’t care for our parents or the elderly at home, but how did it start as that’s uncommon in many other species?

We never see a puppy, when growing up, arrange for food for its mother. Or a fledgling once learnt how to fly, come and serve the mother bird.

Many of these species go away from their mothers and in the case of birds, I don’t know if they ever get in touch once on their own.

We don’t get answers for everything in life, and I think this can be one of those.

This view may seem wrong and untoward, but out of curiosity, this came to my mind. Please don’t take me wrong.

What do you all think?

P.S. — I felt odd writing above, but I couldn’t resist what I had in my mind.
