Human Emotions – Join us on this journey to explore the many dimensions of it.

Responsibilities and Friends

Nowadays, meeting friends doesn’t bring the same joy like earlier. Moments before meeting, everything floods the mind – how much I’ll talk, how much I’ll laugh, it feels like I might even tear up with happiness. But after a while, it all fades away.

Someone talks about job pressures.

Someone is busy praising or complaining about their spouse and kids.

Someone narrates how their money got doubled in the recent IPO.

Another shares the struggles of selling a 1 BHK and buying a 3 BHK in a society.

Someone speaks endlessly about the differences between life here and abroad after returning from Europe or the US.

Someone is distressed about rising expenses.

Amidst all this, those old moments are left behind:

The times when we got scolded by our school teacher.

Secretly pulling the braids of the girl sitting on the bench ahead.

Wondering, where is she now?

How our teacher used to punish us, properly “shaking us up.”

When during exams, you came to the hospital for my father, giving me so much courage.

“Go ahead and propose to her, I’ll take care of the rest.”

Covering both our bills as soon as money came from home, always.

Celebrating my job success even more than I did.

Now, all of it feels like a distant memory.
We meet, dine at fancy restaurants, now no need to wait or worry about splitting the bill.
Everything happens,
but the heart-to-heart conversations don’t.
