Human Emotions – Join us on this journey to explore the many dimensions of it.

Spouse – The Only Solace

Human being, however strong he or she is, always look for a place where he/she can find a comfortable space to open up, someone who gives the needed support in the troubled times, someone to tell that everything would be fine.

As a kid, we find that in our parents, close family, while growing up, we see them in our friends.

But as the age goes up and we get busy solving our life intricacies. Few typical issues, which we won’t feel comfortable going to the parents or friends.

Then we need someone to rely on, someone with a right to crib, fight, cry and get relaxed with the intimacy.

God created a great relation – Spouse.

With this I am not at all demeaning the support of parents or friends, we need them throughout our life, but unfortunately, the hard fact is, the parents can’t be with us our whole life and friends too have their priorities.

Kids, once grow up, like the birds, fly away to fulfil their own dreams.

What left is spouse. We meet at the age where we both are full of life, energy, lots of dreams. We strive each and every day to give life a meaning, to succeed.

After the initial romantic, exciting days, begins the real life story.

But everything and for everyone it’s not always an easy one. There come hardships, sacrifices, ups and downs, times to test each other.

Life full of surprises. Sometimes full of joy and sometimes when it gets hard on us and we are in search of a shoulder to cry, only reliance is of the spouse.

She knows it better than anyone. Looking in the eye, she understands what we are going through. With a tight hug, she takes all the sorrows away from us, at least for that moment of time.

In my mother tongue – Marathi, here in India, there is an adage which says “Wife for a moment and mother for rest of life” is apt for this relation with the wife.

She too cry with us, it’s not like that, that will help in reality to solve the issues, but that hug, those kisses in that time, help and give strength to face the world. She with those intimate actions tells us that she is there with us. The struggle is for both of us and that you are not alone.

The assurance of ‘come what may, I am there with you’. This assurance is bigger than any kind of support in the world.

As I said, life won’t be easy, we fight with each other, may moments of stress during the course of life. But we both know, that’s this all is momentary and at heart we never get detached till the death do us apart.

Stopping it here. Going to my love with this, to tell her, how important she is for me. You too, please.
