The Third Face

They say that each human being has three faces. The one they show to the world, second a personal one disclosed to family and close ones and the last, the third face known only to self and to God if one believes in him.

Since the time we start understanding the things, everyone, every time lives with all these three faces.

Among these, the third face, I feel is the most dangerous one. Sometimes for self as well.

The third face seldom reacts, the only thing it does is to absorb, see, just listen to the things.

In difficult situations, the third face is the extreme limit or boundary one has, it’s the one which takes in everything and don’t let the emotions to come to the brim and expel.

It’s the same third face, which gets involved in such things, which otherwise the first and even second face can’t even imagine.

It’s the one who is the ‘partner in the crime’ for us or may bring the best at certain situations, which the world can’t even thought of.

The most unexpected things from oneself is the outcome of the deeds of the third face.

This unknown, reticent, tacit face for the world, is always in talk with self. It never sleeps, the moment you get conscious, it starts working.

We can control our emotions in-front of the world, to the closed ones as well, but it’s difficult to tame the third one.

It’s the one who makes us break, it’s the last straw one has to hold onto.

But when such things came out in open, it’s this last face which will make one faceless, it will tear you apart and throw you to the extreme.

This last face may be the emotions we control, the extreme patience one has, the unfulfilled desire or may be the grudges we hold against something.

So, try to bridge the distance between the second face and third face, let it give in sometimes to avoid the extreme, let it open.
