To go abroad

Describe an item you were incredibly attached to as a youth. What became of it?

After completion of my engineering, I tried really hard to go abroad for further education and for a good job.

Obviously everything to earn money.

It started with getting passport, then appear for GRE, IELTS exams.

By the completion of graduation, situation at home was not that good, so had to leave that dream, but then applied for MBA in India.

But that dream was still there. Thought post MBA will get opportunity to go there.

Passport renewed twice, but no opportunity came except once, when visited a country just for a week for official purpose.

Now, so much of the time passed. Now don’t have that strong desire to leave. Obviously would like to have more money, but that strong desire waned out.

It feels better to be wherever I am right now, with my parents, relatives, friends and most importantly my homeland.

It seems I am getting mature…am I?
