Human Emotions – Join us on this journey to explore the many dimensions of it.

Destiny – It’s Everything

Do you believe in fate/destiny?

I am the strong believer in fate or destiny.

This doesn’t mean I demean the hard work or efforts.

We will take an example. In Olympics, the athletes who are competing are very few, representing the respective countries.

They are the filtered from among the many and then they come to perform on this platform.

Everyone is full of enthusiasm, have put their blood and sweat in the training, but in that final moment only top three get counted.

Here, at this point destiny or fate makes its impact.

I, after facing a difficult situation or when something gone out of hand, I put it to destiny.

That gives a satisfaction that now whatever going to happen, will be as per God’s wish.

In Bhagwadgita, the most famous, a guidance from Lord Krishna, its mentioned,

KARMANYEWADHIKARASTE

MA FALESHU KADACHAN

do your work, don’t keep expectations of its fruit

Also whatever happening in this life, is the outcome of our last birth.

So keep doing good deeds, and let destiny do the rest.

  1. “Thank you for sharing this insightful post! The verse ‘कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन’ has always been a comforting reminder for me to focus on my efforts without being consumed by expectations.

    It also brings to mind ‘योगस्थः कुरु कर्माणि सङ्गं त्यक्त्वा धनंजय ।
    सिद्ध्यसिद्ध्योः समो भूत्वा समत्वं योग उच्यते’
    – This verse emphasizes staying balanced through success and failure — something I think we all struggle with at times.

These teachings remind me that while destiny has its place, our choices and mindset still hold power. It’s reassuring to know that even when outcomes are uncertain, sincere effort is never wasted.”thanks for sharing this insights from gita
