100 years, a century – My God!
2-3 months back my grandfather who born in 1924, expired. He was a complete 100 and also dutifully voted in the last election. May his soul rest in peace.
For me, considering touching 100, it needs another almost five and half decades.
God knows, whether I will be able to make it. But if I could then –
Dear Centurion,
I feel you lived life mostly as per your terms. I wrote mostly, because, while living life, everyone and especially common man needs to make a lot of compromises.
You did great that you avoided places where you feel humiliated at the cost of daily bread and butter as well.
You took care of parents in your capacity. You were not able to give them happiness in terms of amenities, but what I see, they are happy with you and what you have. They know, they raised a good kid.
Your wife and kid, wife is the happiest person on the earth when she is with you. You loved her more than anything and she reciprocated even more.
Your kid, again not so pampered, but seems to be a good citizen.
One good thing about your life is your friends. Wherever you travelled or had to stay for Job purpose, you made good friends and still in contact with many.
If friendship is valued in terms of monies, you would be a billionaire for sure.
And 100 years, its like cherry on the cake.
Good and hope you would like to finish the journey here on earth for the divine one.
Keep it up and see you in next.
