Age five, the golden age. We still think that we can fly, the age where we believe in miracles.
The cartoons, or the stories told by our grandparents, we believe in it.
Nothing seems unachievable at that age. That Aladdin flying on the mat, we don’t find any logic, how it defies the gravity.
I have a habit, whenever I see a kid, I ask one question – What do want to be, when you grow up?
I am always curious to know about the answer and get astonished after learning the answers.
Teacher, Police, Military, Singer, Scientist and so many.
But today, on what I wanted to be at that time.
I always wanted to be an engineer. By God’s grace, I am the one.
That time I didn’t know what an engineer does and in India, during my time there were only two major professions or careers known.
Doctor and Engineer.
I knew what doctors do, but curious about what the engineers used to do.
So, my inclination was always towards the word or profession of being an engineer.
Only thing is, I was not able to do it through my preferred college and university.
But I am happy that I am what I decided.
But when I see the doctors today, and when my father was in the hospital for more than a month, I have seen the doctors closely.
Their way of devotion towards patients, the way people devote them and place them in line of God.
Now, that makes me insist my kid to be a doctor.
So, that is it.
P.S. – friends I know I am overdoing my promotion, but if okay, please check on my book and confirm your feedback.
