Exercise is the last thing in my mind. I know, it is wrong and not good for the health.
But my laziness and the habit of “five more minutes sleep”, won’t allow me to get up and do the exercise.
I crossed 40s and my friends and family members advising me to do at least Yoga.
I am also serious about it, but somehow haven’t started so far.
But one thing or activity, I don’t know whether it is considered as proper exercise, which I do regularly and love to is ‘to walk’.
I love to walk to any distance, if time permits, I would like to walk to anywhere, almost anywhere.
And this is there since my childhood.
I always prefer to walk for small distances and don’t like to take bike or cycle for small chores.
I walk to office, thanks its at walkable distance.
Seldom I take taxi or cab from station to my home at my native place, though its a good 3-4 kilometres away.
Many times when my kid and I walk, we play puzzles like, I will ask a word from any shopboard or road signs and ask him to identify where it is. Then he too put that for me. Its enjoying to walk doing that.
Walking gives me time to think, its not like that I am a strategist, but it gives a different kind of joy.
So, I feel walking is a fun kind of exercise, if its considered as an exercise.
