Describe a risk you took that you do not regret.
I am generally a risk averse person.
I normally prefer the tried and tasted ones and don’t like to experiment.
But that time, I had no option as I was sure I won’t be able to manage the engineering job.
After completion of engineering, all my friends started searching for jobs and few even got as well.
My college was not that premier, Ivy League ones, so there were no placements or assistance.
As I mentioned, getting engineering degree was a dream, but doing job in this was difficult for me.
So, I opted for masters, MBA.
I appeared for entrance exams, I knew if I won’t get in any college, I would lose one important year and also there will be a gap between college completion and getting the job.
A year’s gap means too much for recruiters.
But I decided to go for MBA.
By God’s grace I got into good university, but college was a regular one.
I passed out but still I had to struggle for the job.
But when I look back, taking that risk of a year and the fees paid for the masters paid off.
It certainly helped in my career and also gave me satisfaction.
